On behalf of Community Governance Aotearoa I’m excited to deliver our first annual report.
Our community sector is a substantial one, 115,000 community not-for-profits, 150,000 volunteers and operational teams of thousands, we all work together in a sector that is community led and inspired.
Throughout 2023 we worked alongside many not-for-profit boards, supported many Chairs and board members with governance mentoring programmes and delivered a wide range of governance events and talks that raised the profile and value our sector deserves.
We of course can’t do this alone. A big thank you to those for provided funding grants, and sponsorship, our talented governance leaders, businesses and sector organisations who contributed to our talks and events, and our community for continuing on with services that support our communities and those in need. Not to mention a shout out to my own team and board!
Growing and supporting our sector is what drives us at Community Governance Aotearoa and we thank you for supporting us.
