What is the Collective Communities Leadership initiative?

The Collective Communities Leadership initiative aims to collate and promote a range of approaches to governance. This includes building partnerships (such as business, government, and other agencies) and other collaborative models.

Collective Community Leadership models are partnership models involving multiple organisations. Organisations work together to achieve collective, community-focused outcomes.

A collective approach to leadership

There are many great examples of boards that have strengthened the work of community organisations by creating partnerships across sectors or creating umbrella governance structures.

This initiative will capture and share these as case studies. These examples provide information about how to develop effective partnership models, advocating for this collective approach to leadership.
