Online workshops available now!
To support organisations with implementing the Code, we offer online workshops run by the Community Governance Aotearoa team.
Join us for a three hour online exploration that will help you and your board identify what good looks like for your organisation.
Why your board needs a Good Governance Code workshop
By getting your governance right, you will have capable, diverse, and engaged board members, a strategy about how to achieve your organisation’s ambitions and to better serve your community.
The Good Governance Code is a set of six principles that define good governance for community organisations in Aotearoa. It is grounded within principles of te ao Māori and draws on global and local governance research and experience.
The workshop will explore the six principles and provide a self assessment of what good looks like for your board.
The Code is a free resource, developed for the community sector, by the community sector, and is able to be downloaded here.
